1944年生まれ。作曲家、音楽批評家、著述家、音楽プロデューサー。66年日本大学工学部卒業。76～77年民族音楽研究のため、アジア、中東、アフリカの各国を歴訪。作品は、室内楽を中心に独奏曲、管弦楽、劇音楽など多岐に及ぶ。
アジアやヨーロッパの音楽祭で作品が取り上げられたり、放送されるなど、海外でも作品上演の機会は多い。これまでに8回、作品個展を開いている。ＣＤ、楽譜の出版も多数。コンクールの入賞入選歴も多く、アジア作曲家連盟（Asia Composers League）のフェスティバルでも6度室内楽作品が入選している。
ヨーロッパの室内楽団やオーケストラから作曲を委嘱されたり招待作曲家として招かれることも多く、来春にはプラハでソプラノと弦楽オーケストラのための詩曲“プレアデス”（委嘱作）が初演される。プロデューサーとしての活動も活発で、 「日本現代音楽展」、「２１世紀合唱音楽祭」、 「海外の現代音楽シリーズ」など、国内外の現代音楽の紹介やフェスティバルなどを制作。また朗読「季の会」を主宰し、脚本、朗読の自作自演を試みている。
30年来、東洋思想、超心理学、物理学、神智学、史学を学び、それらの学際的研究も重ねている。またこれらと並行して講演や執筆活動を行う。国際芸術連盟会長、琴祥流琴祥会会長、日本作曲家協議会会員。東京国際室内楽作曲コンクール、ＪＩＬＡ音楽コンクール審査員長。 |
| Kazuhiko Hattori (Composer, music critic, writer, music producer) |
Born in 1944. Graduated from Nihon University (Department of Technology) in 1966. During the years 1976-1977, he visited Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to pursue his study of ethnic music. Centered on chamber music, his compositions range from solo, orchestral works, to music for the plays.
His works of composition have been performed in overseas; in the music festivals in Asia and Europe, and broadcasted on the media. His chamber music compositions have been presented at the Festival of Asia Composers League for several times, and his String Quartet work was performed at "Federation Music Week" in Melbourne in 2001 and received the compliment from the organizer as "one of the highlights of the Festival". There has been 6 concerts held to perform his own compositions, and the music scores and audio CDs are published. Several ensembles and orchestras have requested for his compositions, and he has dedicated some works for them. As a music producer, he has produced Japan Contemporary Music Festival, 21st Century Chorus Festival, and series of performances of the contemporary music from overseas.
Over 30 years, he has studied Oriental philosophy, psychology, physics, biology, and his interdisciplinary research has been continued. Also he has his career as a lecturer and a critic.
